ON THE FOLK NOTE

The folklore dances from all regions, gypsies’, country

We dedicated two weekends to our most beautiful heritage – Folklore. Folklore is the most beautiful that is left after our ancestors. It is a mixture of Slovak folk dances, songs, music and customs from all regions. From simple nursery rhyme to dimensional folk songs; from simple game to folk theatre; from simple folk instruments to folk musical groups.

The weekend “On the folk note” can connect tradition with art-technical difficulty. Dances are full of energy, seasoned with humor. You will see traditional country formation that has its own roots in the folk music. Fiery temperament gypsy group in catchy tones can bring you songs and dance full of passion and emotion.
